"So we are ambassadors for Christ. God making His appeal through us..."
- 2 Corinthians 5:20
Meet Les Rogers -
Executive Director of
Cross Roads Retreat
The Executive Director of Cross Roads Retreat Les began serving at Cross Roads on February 28, 2020 as a volunteer alongside his beloved wife who was the Executive Director of Cross Roads at the time. In January 2023 Les retired as Fire Operations Chief and Chief Law Enforcement Officer (Incident Response Department Head) of the Texas A&M Forest Service after serving the state for 25 years in addition to 12 years in fire, law enforcement and all hazards responses across Texas prior to joining the forest service.
Les’ administrative experience and love of the outdoors combined with Joy’s experience as Camp Director and in the food service industry made them a truly dynamic duo. But their special area of expertise, of loving and spoiling people on behalf of Christ, made them a perfect fit for Cross Road’s commitment to providing radical hospitality to our guests.
In May of 2023, Joy retired and Les stepped into the role of Executive Director. Shortly thereafter Joy went home to Jesus.
Les continues to bless all who come to Cross Roads , volunteers and guests alike, through sharing his gifts of selfless servanthood and the love of God with all who enter our gates. His son teenage son, Haden, is often found serving by his side.
You can reach Les at (979) 567-7974 or email him at info@crossroadsretreat.org
